What's the difference between buying a course and the Training Library?
Individual courses (Finance Team 101 and Church Plant Finance) are one-time purchases that give you permanent access to that specific course. The Training Library is a $25/month subscription that includes both courses plus the full video library, resource library, ChurchBiz Live Q&A sessions, and community access. If you want ongoing training and support, the Training Library is the best value.
Can our whole team go through a course together?
Absolutely. Finance Team 101 includes a group discussion guide so you can lead your finance team through the material together. Each individual needs their own account to access the course content, but the discussion guide makes it easy to facilitate group learning sessions.
Do I need any financial background to take these courses?
Not at all. Our courses are designed for church leaders, volunteers, and administrators at all experience levels. We start with the fundamentals and build from there, using practical examples from real church finance scenarios. Our CPAs explain everything in plain language.
How long does it take to complete a course?
All courses are on-demand and self-paced. Finance Team 101 includes 8 video lessons and Church Plant Finance has 11 lessons — most people complete them within a few weeks, but you can move at whatever speed works for your team. Your access never expires.
What is ChurchBiz Live?
ChurchBiz Live is a live Q&A session with our CPAs and ministry practitioners, held 8 times per year. Training Library subscribers can submit questions in advance or ask live during the session. It's included with every Training Library subscription at no extra cost.

Chris is a licensed CPA in Texas with 20+ years of financial leadership experience. Dedicated to serving the local church, Chris spent more than a decade as a Church Treasurer and Finance Team Lead before joining ChurchBiz in 2020.

Josh brings 15+ years of pastoral and church-planting experience to his roles as Partner and Content Director at ChurchBiz. With an MA in Religion from Western Theological Seminary, he is passionate about equipping churches with practical tools and biblical wisdom.
