Our Story
ChurchBiz was founded by Rick Peralez in September 2008 with a simple conviction: churches deserve the same quality of financial services as any business — delivered by people who understand and value the mission of the local church.
What started with three newly planted churches in Central Texas has grown into a nationwide firm serving over 175 churches and Christian nonprofits. Today, our CPA-led team provides bookkeeping, payroll, HR support, and stewardship consulting from our home base in Round Rock, TX — partnering with ministries of every size, from church plants to multi-site congregations.
Our passion hasn't changed: we exist to lead churches toward God-honoring stewardship.

Chief Financial OfficerLicensed CPA with experience in both public accounting and industry. Kevin co-founded the accounting firm Scott & Aderholt, PLLC in 2016. He serves as an Deacon and oversees the finance team at his church, and is driven by a desire to see the Gospel shape our culture.
