ChurchBiz was founded by Rick Peralez in September 2008 with a simple conviction: churches deserve the same quality of financial services as any business, delivered by people who understand and value the mission of the local church.
What started with three newly planted churches in Central Texas has grown into a nationwide team serving over 190 churches and Christian nonprofits. Today, our CPA-led team provides bookkeeping, payroll, HR support, and stewardship consulting from our home base in Round Rock, TX, partnering with ministries of every size, from church plants to multi-site congregations.

Chris Mallonee is a licensed CPA with more than 20 years in financial leadership, including eight years as a church treasurer and finance team lead. He joined ChurchBiz in 2020 and is passionate about being a ministry partner to every church he serves. Chris attends Redeemer Church in Georgetown, TX.

Kevin Aderholt is a licensed CPA with experience in both public accounting and industry. In 2016, he co-founded the accounting firm Scott & Aderholt, PLLC. Kevin serves as a deacon and oversees the finance team at his church, and he is driven by a desire to see the Gospel shape our culture.

Josh Reeves is a partner at ChurchBiz, where he serves as a Client Service Representative and Content Director. Before joining ChurchBiz, he spent 15 years as a pastor and church planter. He holds a degree in business management from Texas Tech University and a master's degree in religion from Western Theological Seminary.
